The problem is that that belt had not 1000 miles on it but it did eat a far amout of snow that is entering the engine compartement that i need to seal for this to never happen again

I am thinking that the way the belt has snaped and the sheaves hit together while the motor was spining around 8900 rpm that must be just a coincidence as every thing still run true and i also did not run it for long. Just after the belt snapt i shut it down and ones the new belt was on i did...

Hi guy for those who have ad this problem and put locktite between the outer race and the retainer cap did it move again after a blown belt. It hapened last year but dealer was not aware of the bearing moving in so new fixed clutch sheave and off you go but after alignement with dave's tool...
