UPDATE: It turned out to be the hand controller that was faulty, replaced it with a new one and now everything works :D

Yeah the worked fine last season, but it has been sitting in a container, and it gets a bit moist in there when the weather changes. Svalbard is a dry climate, so it's not a usually a problem, but we do some times ride over sea ice. I checked all the connections and they look brand new inside...
