Harley Davidson big twins have been running this type of oil system for years. These motors do not care how much oil is in the tank as long as the oil level is above the suction hose. It is one of the best because oil levels are not as critical.
The only reason a 600pd sled can race and beat a sled that weighs 100pds less with basic 130 hp. Torque.according to hp to weightratio this sled should not be able to run with any revs or firecats .

I do not know how many times i have seen the closed fist sign from the last sled in a group . Meanwhile other sleds had caught up to them and they didnt even know it.There might be 20 sleds behind him for all you know.
I was told by an old sledder up north last week end that if you spray the problem area with Pam cooking spray that the snow could not stick.I have not tried this yet. I have to do something this machine gains 20 pds by the end of the day.
Thanks to everyone that replied.I to have the bar ends.I removed them thinking that they were drawing the heat away from the grips. I even insulated the inside of the bars no help.This past weekend I had to resort to gauntlets to keep my hands warm.They look funny but boy did they keep my hands...
My 03 had the rivet damage .My dealer replaced the seat cover last week with an 04 cover no problems.He had four other sleds in the shop for the up date.
WE should take the sleds to the lake sometime and stretch them out.I would like to do sometesting but nobody in my area owns an Rx1. mostly skidoos. I live in Hollis .
I was wondering if everbody is happy with their handwarmers. Mine never seem to get hot no matter what. I have checked the power going into the warmers and it only indicates 2-3 volts is this correct. Their just not like the srx when it comes to heat.
I did not want to panic anyone. The hole at the bottom of the seat was caused by ice that came from a rivet on the side of the tunnel. It looked like an icicle protruding from the head of the rivet. The seat cover itself has never leaked any water.

I am wondering how many 03 owners have had thier seat covers replaced because of rivet damage.I just noticed that ice had worked its way through the seat and ripped a small section.Are the new replacment seat covers improved in any way
