Thanks for the input. Being a DOO guy for many years seeing paint wearing through on the Apex was a big shock. I guess I just assumed that all sleds used a similair paint process on thier tunnels. Aside from the paint, I've been happy with the Apex so far.

Additional Noise?
Being studded down the center, I'm interested to know how noisy the bearings will be hitting the studs. Don't know for sure if they will hit but thinking it might make a bit of a racket. Don't really want to have to re-locate the studs.
