Well said! If yamaha would make a sled that is as maneuverable and fun to ride as my current Pro RMK, 2 stroke or 4 stroke, i would be back on a blue sled in a heartbeat.

The Phazer engine does not have much in common with a yzf 250 engine. The YZF crank has ballbearings and we should be glad that the Phazer engine does not. Actually it has more in common with a newer r1 engine. Newer than the one the rx1 is based on.

But oft parts are available from swedish companies too, so you dont have to order from overseas if you have a problem with that. BilletX can make a relocator for the steeringpost all they want, sa long as they come up with their own design. Not a lame copy. Its embarrassing!

I would buy a new Yamaha in2014 if they bring out a sled that is comparable to my current pro rmk in weight and handling. If it has a 2 or 4 stroke would not matter to me.

Well the lack of changes from Yamaha has made me switch brands after 13 years on diffrent Yamaha sleds. Traded my XTX-12 for a Pro RMK 600. Wanted something new. Hopefully Yamaha will release something in the future that make me come back, and they have to do it before my new 2 stroke goes boom.

Im going to have a look at the TTX in a couple of hours. To bad we have no snow, would have been nice to go for a test ride!!!

There is no other work to fit the challenger compared to the backcountry. If you ride mostly offtrail i would go with the Challenger.

I have 9t extros on my 2012 XTX so im not sure how it would work with stock drivers. All 2011-2012 XTXs are delivered with 9t extros in Scandinavia so i dont think you need to cut the rails. I have heard that the xtx works good without extros unlike the rtx so you could try that.

Very funny Emme! BNG and adjustable riser! This is a "model" sold in scandinavia for my 2012. It is a Mtx 153 with a sticker on the tunnel and adjustable riser. Also supposed to have stiffer shocks. Yamaha Scandinavias answer to sd freeride and po Assault.

I Have a 2" Challenger on my XTX. Really nice track! You dont have to change to a smaller driver, just cut out the protectors on the cooler and in the tunnel.
