Just wanted to thank everyone for their responses and comments. This forum is amazing! I decided to try out a 25 Lynx 900r Xterrian. I’m sure I’ll pick up a used Sidewinder in a year or two because I really do enjoy them……thanks again
Thank you for all the responses. I’ve owned a a 06 Attack, 12 Apex and my Dad still has a 05 RX Warrior. They’ve all been awesome sleds. Haven’t decided yet on what to buy…..Skidoo dealer is literally 2 mins away from the house. My closest Yamaha dealer sucks for parts and service and if I went...
I’d like to go farther in Northern Ontario and Quebec. I have a 22 XRS Backcountry and 03 Pro X 700 SKS. Just wanted to not carry oil and open that 4 stroke up for a while hahaww aww
I’m at the point financially to buy another sled. Adding a 4 stroke is what I’ve decided….anyone on here that has owned a Sidewinder/Thundercat/ZR9000 or a Skidoo 900R that has any input on what they like better or experienced between the two?
Any input is greatly appreciated. Hopefully next...
I have the TD Eco trail and Super Quiet Muffler installed on a 2019 ZR 9000 RR. I purchased the Dalton weight set and was wondering if anyone could give me some input on what grams/set they used.
I saw on some posts guys are running stock clutching all the way up to the Power Trail Tune.
Any...
Does anyone have this sled or order one? I’m really interested in some feed back about this sled.
How’s the Backcountry 1.75 track?
How are the QS3 coil over shocks in the rear skid?
Looks like a really fun machine, planning on ordering one for 2020. Hopefully they keep the blue and while...
Thanks Yamadog and YamahaTim for the info. Ive been reading a lot on the Vipers and follow both of your posts and threads. You guys have great info and TotallYamaha is great!
Thanks again!
Ill be calling you tmrw. Next winter is going to be great! I'm headed to the dealer to order a 2015 Viper XTX SE.
Friend of mine just ordered a 2015 XF 7000, he's going to S**T when he realizes I have a hair dryer under the hood!!! hahaha
Thanks for the response guys, did you see the RTX LE at a show in person and check out the rails?
From all the pics and videos Ive seen it looks like the rails are the same as the SE model or a Cat Sno Pro. If that was the case the only difference between the 2 is the front shocks(Fox Evo's)...
I was going to get a Cat RR this year and decided to until 2015. The 2015 RTX LE in whit and blue has my attention.
Has anyone been to or found out if the rear suspension has the same as the RR' rears suspension? Like the beefier rails and the better shocks? Or is it the same as the Sno Pro...
How are the rear suspension rails hold up on your XTX models? The 141 inch tracks. Anyone breaking the rails or bending them?
How does that rear Fox float shock hold up? Does it take the trails we'll? Can I jump some drifts off trails and not worry about blowing the shock?
In the Spec section on the Yamaha web site it says Dual shock SR 129 Race.
Do you think its the same rear suspension as the Arctic Cat ZR 8000 RR?
In the pics it looks like the standard 129 Sno Pro or R-TX SE suspension. The shocks are not the same s Cat's RR but that can always be...
