Are you sure the manufacturer actually changed the tank? They are required to LIST a capacity that is smaller than actual capacity due to government requirements. This is for expansion of fluids. Yamaha may have messed up and listed actual capacity last year???

I don't have the part numbers, but I will call the dealer this pm and see if they have a #. Hoov

OEM Yamaha update parts. Hopefully the parts that the link is attached to will hold up............. Also gussetted torque arm is part of update. Yamaha said if I break this setup I have balls of steel and they will not warranty it. Direct quote.......
