I use a motocross style helmet ( shoei ) and have never had a problem with the cold . Like earlier mentioned you need a good quality face mask and googles . The key for goggles is to get the ones that have a larger frame so they fill up more of the opening in the helmet . I like the scott 89xi .
I'm going to run some snowtrackers this season but i've got a set of pilots and stock skiis and can't decide which ones to use . Has anyone tried snowtrackers on both of these skiis ?
Thanks for the info , i've got the stock skiis with shaper bars and also pilots with shapers . I think i'm going to put a set of extremes on the pilots and try them .
O.K , I've read all the threads on the snowtrackers but I just wanted to make sure I'm getting the info straight . I'm hearing that the "extremes" actually have easier steering than the "semi aggressive" trackers but corner better .
Those do-nuts looked exactly like mine . I changed them anyway but there was little difference between the new ones and old ones with 3500 miles on them . I dont think there is a problem with the do-nuts as much as there is tolerance differences with the clamps . All my clamps were tight and all...
Just got a gps and i'm looking through old threads on mounting it . MXD has a nice set up but i wanted to know if it's the standard length ram mount (3") or the longer (5 1/4") ? If any one knows it would be much appreciated .
