I can't give you a comparison about the noise because the Ripsaw 1 is on my Turbo RX1 and the sled is way louder than stock, but it wasn't noisy at all. I had the preditor on my old SRX and on the turbo before the ripsaw 1 but as you know they stopped making them, and for the conditions i ride...

I love this track, i was impressed compared to the standard ripsaw. reminded me of the old predator track.

Flipside i was in the same postion you were, but with my RX1 and thought i was SOL, researched getting the Helicoil done etc. once i found out it was just the spark plug busted, what i used was a long Flat head screw driver and the remaining spark plug came right out.

The only down side i find to the 4 and 0 was they wore too quick with out having the carbide on the 1. i went to 6 and 2 because thats all they had and i really like this setup better. I'm running no studs as of right now. but i will stud it for next year
