Was tempted to buy a touring seat, but it won't fit with EXUP valve. Would also cost a small fortune, but at least it would look stock. An xtx with a touring seat would be pretty cool. Could swap for the stock seat when riding alone. Not like there are many bolts holding them on.

I'm going to try flipping the brackets tonight. That said, I took the left one off the seat and installed it. Then took th right one off and installed it. Instructions also states "The slides must be installed upward" which is what I did. Stay tuned.

Hygear does free revalves after initial service, not free rebuilds (perhaps discount, just give them a call). Shock option will disappear from dash if wires are broken, correct.

Follow up for others reading this post. Spoke to dealer mechanic about this. Stator is bathed in oil for cooling purposes. This is normal.

Add me to the loose secondary list. 90 is 3 on secondary and 6 on helix. Turn helix clockwise to align studs. If the secondary was the problem, you'll probably want to put that weight back in the tip.
