Was tempted to buy a touring seat, but it won't fit with EXUP valve. Would also cost a small fortune, but at least it would look stock. An xtx with a touring seat would be pretty cool. Could swap for the stock seat when riding alone. Not like there are many bolts holding them on.
Interesting. I had not read that anywhere. Of course they no longer have a website so I'm not sure where anyone would look that up. Doesn't say that in the Royal catalogue.
Unfortunately the seat does not fit without the brackets.
Well I give up. Either this product is a piece of crap or they mixed and matched parts for my shipment. Either way it's going back. I was looking for a simple bolt on solution and this certainly is not it. Anyone know of another manufacture that makes something similar?
Can someone tell me...
Yeah, I figured that. Wish they would just provide proper instructions.
As I said i will try to night, but I'm concern when they are flipped they will hit the exchanger hose covers. Guess I'll find out soon enought.
I'm going to try flipping the brackets tonight. That said, I took the left one off the seat and installed it. Then took th right one off and installed it. Instructions also states "The slides must be installed upward" which is what I did.
Stay tuned.
After much research I decided to purchase a seat jack for my 2014 Apex X-TX. Unfortunately the install did not go well and fit on my machine was horible (to say the least). After reading the vague instructions 4 times (to ensure I did everything correctly). You can see the results below. The...
Hygear does free revalves after initial service, not free rebuilds (perhaps discount, just give them a call).
Shock option will disappear from dash if wires are broken, correct.
Add me to the loose secondary list. 90 is 3 on secondary and 6 on helix. Turn helix clockwise to align studs. If the secondary was the problem, you'll probably want to put that weight back in the tip.
So I must have been turning 9200 RPM with a stock Viper, that would put me below 100HP accouding to the dyno sheets???
Actually I just saw your worksheet (LazyBastard)and it makes more sence now. If I was actually running 8750 with 5% overdrive it works out.
Cool, great tool guys...
For those that have used this calculator, do you find it accurate?
I've got an 03 Viper, stock gearing should be 22/38, clutched to run at 8600, and it's got 9 tooth drivers on it. According to the calculator my top speed should be 106.77. Last year, both on Radar and GPS, I was able to hit...
SLPs take the stock 115-120 HP Viper and bring it up to 146HP (according to the dyno sheets I've seen). Fun part will be clutching. Got it dialed in last year to run 115MPH (radar) stock. Now I'm going to have to go through the whole process again, JOY! These pipe make top HP at 8800-8900 vs...
LOL, yah I didn't mention it cause of what a lot of people said, but I orded ceramic coated SLP pipes to give the Viper a bit more of an edge. And yes I know it's not as simple as bolting them on. I've already got the large rear cooler on it and I'm going to put an SRX base gasket on it + the...
