I put SLP wear pads on mine rather than cut the track. Huge improvement in slider wear and very slippery. It will actually coast if you stop on a hill now. TimC

www.ulmerracing.com is the place to get a gauge & sender. I velcro'd it to the steering post pad. Lights up at night & works great. Crazy that it doesn't come as part of the gauge pkg. but like a lot of other issues with Yamaha, with enough money, you can make it right! TimC
