It fits, I run 2" challanger in my stretched 144" RTX (without ice scratchers)
There is some good instructions on track change in this forum so it is pretty straight forward
This kind of news is what I need, have been riding my extended RTX and likes everything except that it is difficult on the side hill and hard to turn in the forest. Tried the RMK and it is "flickable" and it almost made me whant to jump the ship. But then I saw some Nytro turbo vids and it sure...
I have the same feeling after stretching my -08 to 144" with 2" lugs. Will do a test and move the transfer blocks backwards. Similar to Ski doo Backcountry http://mountainblog.ski-doo.com/2012_freeride_sc-5_137/
It looks like one can move them 2 inch back by using the rear holes for the...
I installed Track USA 144" extension last winter and loves it. For the price it is really good. Installed better boards at the same time and it all fits good (for being american design ;)! )
Thank you all for the information, the dropbrackets looks to be really much more further back. That will give me some problems. I also had the idea to put some rivets throug the inside of the tunnel.
Looks like I will need to take out the welder and make my own instead, might be easier
Or...
Thanks, that is just my idea. To modify my tunnel to be a 11 degree to get better clearance in deep snow and use Airframe boards to get the strenght. Of course it will take some work to get the new 90 degree bend
Does anyone know the differense between the different runningboards for different model year?
Thinking of putting them on my 2008 Nytro and will make some modification on the tunnel.
Would like to have the more narrow at the back and also a higher angle to get better clearance. I am also...
I upgrade my Float to Float 2 and loves them. A whole different front suspension

With 9 tooth and 1,75" lug height you will need to remove the stud guards on the cooler. Otherwise you should be fine.

No one that has tried Hartman Inc. = http://www.hartmaninc.com/08nytrofxrtx.html
They have a kit with relocated suspension for better off trail condition. The only problem I can see is increased load on the front and heavy steering?
How big is the differense with the regular extension? I hate...
The clutch will need some works otherwise you should be good to go. There are also some other 180 hp kits availible in the states.
You can find some info in swedish here: http://forum.snowmobile.se/showthread.php?37642
The only thing I have seen is Hartman inc. extension kit with "Slide Frame Relocation for deep snow and less trenching ", but i have not been able to find any detailed info about it.
