Have a 16 Vector 129 here. Just put a new Updated rear Fox air shock on it. Lots of pumping to do to get it up to 230 psi. My great aunts first cousin wants to know why I cant use my compressor to do the first 150 psi ?
I positioned the tabs on each side of the vice and put pressure there carefully to move the tabs inward very slightly. That way the cap stopped turning like it is supposed to on the tank stops. Give it a try.!!!
I have a 2016 Vector 129 that had the same problem. Took the radiator cap and squeezed it in a vice a bit. No problems since. I notices that the part number for a new cap has been revised.
When we bought our 16 Vector 129, I asked the dealer to install the newer air shock under warranty. Dealer said only the Apex was being switched to the newer shock at no cost. Dealer said if shock fails, a new shock would be installed. Just 1,000 miles out and it failed plus taking out the...
I think all GYTR GT shocks have the calibrator both top and bottom. In the EBAY picture above, have the seller turn the shaft around and the damper knob will show. I believe that shock rod is the correct one for you.
Also as a second option, change your current fuse from a 2amp to a 5 amp. Had this same problem with my Ski Doo Modular 2 Helmet. Took care of my problem.
Good info on the new Single Shot Fox rear shock replacement. Go to Apex Talk. Go to frequently asked questions there. Scroll down to Suspension and click on Single Shot Set-up. There it shows how to install it and how to set it up by rider weight. We just had the original shock blow out and our...
Just not the right shock for the Single Shot suspension is my guess. For the time being at least install additional hyfax on each side of the rear heat exchanger to prevent future damage incase it happens. I do love the Fox Air shock and the new one has an additional reservoir and rides even...
Guess what happens when that Fox rear air shock blows on a 2016 Vector 129 with 90 ,1.325 studs up the center. In my case, it also wiped out the rear heat exchanger and left us stranded 2 miles from our trailer with little anti freeze to continue on with. This sled had less than 700 miles on...
Dont replace the washers especially with hardware store washers. Just replace the three bolts that hold the washers on the back side of the driven. Also, use the original washers that are there as they dont wear out. Just the bolts wear out. Replace also the 3 pucks. Then check the deflection...
The three bolts are located on the back side of the driven. Remove the driven
and you will see the three bolts. Replace the bolts with new ones PN 90105-06734 using the existing washers assuming the washers are the original factory ones. It is amazing how much leverage these bolts provide...
Dont know how many miles you have on your sled but, consider changing the three bolts behind the driven and using the existing washers that are there. Made a big difference on my clutch performance and belt wear. I have been able to go back to the 8DN belt that I thought was the problem. The...
I believe that the millage information is collected and stored in the speedometer head and not in the ECU. I had a short in my tail light pigtail and the tail lights went out along with the dash pod. I repaired the pig tail and noticed that after a 150 mile trip the mileage didnt change while...
