    new to the Phazer board

well, I'm out of here again..... sold my Phazer yesterday...... my pre-ordered Ski Doo Tundra long track 600 ACE finally arrived, The Phazer XTX was a great little sled, but it was just a fill-in until the Tundra arrived.

    Four Stroke Solutions roll-over valve

This is my third sled to install one of Bills roll-over valves on. I generally ride in areas of untracked snow and it is not unusual to roll my sled. Having a tether to shutdown the motor and a valve on the oil tank makes roll overs a no drama event. no loss of oil, no oily air box, no messy...

    Snapped front torque arm

Track change is getting into the chain case so you can change gearing while doing the job. It really depends on where and in what conditions you ride in. I ran a 159"x16"x2" challenger track on a 2007 MP with the same motor and chain case and geared it down as low as was possible. I ride mostly...

    Snapped front torque arm

I would check the diameter of your track drivers. looks like different drivers for the RTX and the MTX. Otherwise get under the sled and see how much room you have between your current track and the heat exchanger. Cannondale will likely know.

    new to the Phazer board

I picked up a mounting kit for my Slydog Powder hound 8" skis yesterday but we are hitting -40c night time temps over the next few days.... since I don't have a warm place to work on the sled I will have to wait to mount them up. these were great skis that I kept when I traded the viper. I also...

    new to the Phazer board

I had a 159"x16"x2" track on my 2007 MP and had geared it down as far as I could. Ran the 17-45 gears with the longer chain. I also had a set of narrow mountain A-arms on it with Simmons gen2 skis. I'll see how the XTX does in stock trim. I ride mostly powder meadows and natural terrain with...

    new to the Phazer board

been around TY for years. started out here on a 2007 MP, was riding a 2016 Viper 162 mtx last year but that sled was a bit to much for me. bought sight unseen out of Alberta what I thought was a 2015 Phazer M-TX, what came off the freight truck was a 2015 Phazer X-TX. different track, 42 inch...

"New" 09 XTX Excitement and Panic

I'm nearly in the same boat... considering the purchase of a 2009 Nytro XTX with a 153 x 2.5 x 16 on extended tip-up rails. the sled has less than 1000km on it. the sled is priced for todays market. I traded off a 2016 Viper MTX 163 this summer for a quad because I thought the Viper was a bit of...

I'm running the Schmidt Brothers comfort clutch spring and quiet kit on my 2016 MTX 162 and it is a great improvement. dropped the engagement rpm down to around 3000 rpm.

Heated Gloves for riding in extreme cold?

I run the 7800 mAH batteries, and they are pretty light and fairly small. It is just a matter of how you want to run the wire as to where you carry the battery

Heated Gloves for riding in extreme cold?

getting wired up takes some time to get a personal system down. my glove liners plug into the base layer sleeves. they can also be wire independent of the shirt. I don't have any trouble with the wires in either case. where possible I run the wires under my clothing. Warm and Safe makes great...

Heated Gloves for riding in extreme cold?

battery life is the issue with independent cuff mounted small batteries.

Heated Gloves for riding in extreme cold?

I use Warm and Safe motorcycle heated 7.4 volt glove liners, socks and base layer shirt. they can be powered by the sleds 12volt system or independent 7.4 volt batteries. I use the independent batteries in a small hip pack so I am not wired to the sled. the batteries are light and about the size...

    SR Viper MTX Clutching

I'm running exactly the same setup, 2016 mtx 162 3 inch track with a Schmidt brothers comfort clutch spring, 8BU10 stock weights with Chris's recommended rivets and stock Helix on the secondary. The weather here has been really cold or white out so I haven't had a chance to run down the Lake and...
