I know a few guys running their stage 3 in the mountains and they RIP and have been reliable . I have one of their stage 4 kits in a drag sidewinder and it it Crazy! Def recommend their sidewinder kits !
Packard performance claims they have made 800 at the crank on their in house dyno YXZ sxs I’m unsure if it is the stock crank or not but on their website their stage 3 engine build mentions nothing of an aftermarket crank . Brian crower however does make a 4340 stroker kit crank as well as 4340...
The mcx stage 3 kit is pretty good bang for your buck as well . 340 horse and seems to be bang on reliability wise . Kit will run 340 on stock header and even more with the new header. I did a full stage 4 kit last year and lemme tell ya it’s hauls the mail ! I planning to do a few more upgrades...
I’m running a 450hp big turbo mcx kit with 4 arm stm and stock secondary . Running 39/35 helix with black tan spring but I’m still working on getting it dialed in
I kept the internal wastegate and it’s a three port solenoid . The stock system isn’t really touched everything still plugs into stock locations to keep the ecu happy . There are 2 voltage converters that plug into the stock boost solenoid and the fuel rail pressure solenoid all the new stuff...
So last march I had the opportunity to purchase an insurance wrote off 2018 BTX. This would be my third sidewinder as I currently had a 2017 MTX162" and a 2019 SRX both are td multi map tuned and a LONG list of aftermarket parts on both. To properly premise this post and credit TD both sleds...
My 2017 did the same thing , changed out the anti stab wheels for a bigger size haven’t had the problem since . Order two of the part number in the picture they are direct replacement
Checked my flasher last night . The beta firmware for the dash upgrade is there so I loaded it and tried it but it changed nothing so hoping in the next day or so there is more updates. The entire td team seems to be crazy busy the last month or so , they are trying their best to keep up I...
has anyone tried the Yamaha 8gs belt? Just wondering if the durometer would be in between the 8jp and the 8dn ? Where the 8dn is very hard on clutch faces and 8jp is soft and a lot of dust , owners blowing them left right and center .
Check your rail tips and front of your sliders , mine was hitting the drivers and wore out the rail tips and the slides right at the bolt that bolts them to the skid . Replaced them last season at the very end of the season and then had to replace them again midway through this season
Install the cat bumper or rogue concepts also if your carrying fuel or anything at all heavy you want it close to the seat as possible for better ride and structural reasons
I got my front and rear shock of Ian at monster he does great work !! I didn’t upgrade the center yet to an exit but did upgrade the spring and it made great improvement
I’m roughly your weight and the 180 makes a good difference but I’m glad I didn’t go to higher preload because In the snow she wouldn’t keep the skis down. With the 180
It’s like you can lean back and ride the rear bumper if you want or you can stand normal and she will carry the skis at the...
Change the center shock spring to 180lb or higher Arctic Cat spring crank it up to close to where your current one is and you’ll get a lot better “pop” and ski lift . I changed my mtx to the 180 last year and made a lot of difference . You will transfer more on the trails so it’ll affect your...
Snapped my mtx clean off with like 400 kms on it , tunnel was 240 bucks and I added proclimb rear bumper for future support haven’t had issue since . Not really a bad job to do honestly just order some #4 center drills off amazon makes the drilling the rivets a joke ! Order bunch of them as if...
Had problems my first couple rides that the unclipped windows had rubber coming off them when sled was new . Dealer gave me track clips to fully clip the track and hopefully save it . Anyway last night the track delaminated inside on the chaincase side and then the outside came apart limping it...
