I'm looking for a stock '03 RX-1 skid and AIRWOLF has an '02 Viper skid for sale. I'm wondering what, if any, the differences are in these skids??? Is it a direct bolt-in??? Are the shocks or idlers any different???
Thanks!!!!
Thanks!!!!

it should be a direct bolt in. the shocks on the viper might be aluminum and rebuildable instead of steel and disposable that the rx had.

springs are different rates - you may want to switch out your springs onto the viper shocks.

viper center 2.3 rx1 2.8-5.1 dual rate
viper rear 3.0-5.0 dual rate rx 3.5-5.3 dual rate
you would have to at least change the front spring
viper rear 3.0-5.0 dual rate rx 3.5-5.3 dual rate
you would have to at least change the front spring

Alright, I suppose that would be easy enough!!! It would probably be worth it to have the rebuildable shocks too!!! Thanks for the info!!!!woolyviper said:viper center 2.3 rx1 2.8-5.1 dual rate

I have an 03 skid with less than 1000 miles on it probably costs more to ship than finding one at a swap meet this summer or fall.
