04 warrior No tach|speedo-odo works fine

Hi there,

I just bought a 04 warrior from a guy who rolled it over.
the cluster was shaken up big time as the windshield-windshield fairing + pod is totally scrap but the cluster is still working.

As the title says the speedo and odo works fine along with every other signal lights but the RPM-Tach doesnt work
My guess is that the little tach motor in the cluster is gone.
could it be just the wire from the cdi box to the cluster ???

any test i could do to test the rpm
correct me if im wrong but id put low voltage on a wire to make the rpm move (that would tell me if the motor works or not)

talked to a guy this weekend who had an old cluster ... put it on my sled to make sure it wasnt the wiring that was bad and the thing worked so i bought it

Glad you where able to get a working one, much simpler then tracking down some other problem.
