05 RX-1 popping out of gear?!

I was riding my RX-1 northern WI, just came off a lake and onto a very bumpy trail and all of a sudden I was hearing/feeling a grinding noise. I felt right away like gears were not messing. I popped it into reverse, same thing. After switching from forward to reverse a couple of times it seemed to "pop" back into gear. Happened again the next day, did the same thing and it ran fine. I plan on taking it in to have it checked but thought I would ask if this is something others had seen.

you do not need to take in. most likely is the chain tensioner. A bolt sticking out the nose side of the chain case, it also has a lock nut on it. You tighten it up by hand then use a wrench to tighten lock nut. Problem fixed.

They only other thing would be the linkage on top of the chain case, but it doesnt sound like it. But in case it is, just turn the thumb wheel on the linkage until it shifts propperly and then tighten the lock nuts.
