Having not ridden either sled, on paper the engine and chassis looks the same. Do they ride any different? I've read some people put an Apex seat and Apex handlebars on their RX-1 - does this essentially make it like an Apex? Any comments would be appreciated. I'm thinking of buying one or the other, but the RX-1's are cheaper and would leave me with some money to do upgrades. Thanks.

THey should ride the same.. except that the apex has a rider forward seating position, and you would have to add a apex seat and move the bars up and forward on the Rx-1
The rx-1 wont handle as good as a apex, as the apex has a newer style front end, different A-arms and spindles, and shock geometery.. and the engine is tilted back more for a lower center of gravitiy
Either sled will benifit from a 13mm swaybar..
