Looking to buy '05 Vector. Anyone know if the shocks are rebuildable? What kind are the stock shocks - Fox?

Thanks

I believe the front ski shocks and the front rear shock it rebuidable.
The rear one is a steel non-rebuidable and is not a very good shock. I would replace it if you bought one.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket rebuildable shock for the rear shock on an '05 vector other thatn the olhns???

You can by a shock out of a Nytro (that's what I did) or order a custom made one from Deycore.

I'm selling the skid out of my 05 Vector that has the Nytro shock (+ other upgrades). See the Classifieds section and PM me if you want.

Undecided-- How much was the Nytro shock. I have watched your trial and tribulations with the rear shock. Did you get a chance to ride it with the Nytro shock or did just pack it in and order a new skid?

The shock and/or entire the skid are now for sale if you're interested. I bought an M-10. A friend made me a deal that I couldn't turn down.

The shock itself made a HUGE improvement to the ride quality. I ended up having it revalved 50% softer (I want a soft ride) after the fist ride. This coupled with the front skid shock/spring work I had done made me at least satisfied with the ride. I would have had no complaints riding it this coming season.

But like I said, I got a deal on a 3 yr old M10 (very few miles on her too!) that I couldn't pass up!!!
