you did change?check the bearings inside the chaincase right?
I use low temp grease to grease the skid but ---
I've used regular axle grease when I clean and repack both bearings each year for 18,000+ miles, never had a problem. I'm on my 3rd drive shaft bearing (changed due to water/snow easier to get into that one) but the jackshaft bearing is original.
I think what he is experiencing with the track stopping is pretty normal. Compare what it does with another sled -same year and model if you can.
