06' RS venture suspension Rear Shock

Hey,
There are a few posts about this from about 5 years ago. Just wondering if there are any updates or other options.

I have an 06 RS Venture, the suspension rear shock is pretty loose and I need to replace it (as it isn't rechargable) What are the options? will the rear shock from newre models work? Any thoughts?

from looking at the pictures, it looks like the shocks from a nitro xtx or a 2011-2015 apex xtx would work for you. i do remeber seeing a fox shock that fits the rear of this style suspension on a nitro xtx but i have no idea where the sled owner got it. i want to say yellowknife had to do this to his nitro back in the day if that helps.

I have a question on my 05 vector if anyone is around. how do you test the rear suspension torque pivot arm stopper?
