well i guess i am going to put a new track on the sled. just wondering what track. should i put on stock, or after market? thinking about a track with pre formed stud holes. anyone using them.
it depends on your riding style what do you ostly do?
mainly trail riding. do a little drag racing on the lakes. thinking about a 1 inch track then running 144 studs up the middle. i have #5 hauck clutch kit.

bought a 1 inch predator, with pre formed 144 studs up the mid.

I love my Ice ripper. Does not hook up as good as regular studs, but it does not push in the corners and always gives you just the right amount of traction you need.
Why stay away from the Hacksaw's??

hacksaw and ripsaw are very similar....the six pitch predator is a great all around track and more durable

I would say it MAY be quieter..but I never rode my sled with RIP....removed it day one.
I know it took awhile for me to get used to these apexs....as they for some reason have this harmonic sound noise to there rear ends...Im not sure if anyone ever found out what it is,but i think it was something to do with the way the exhaust exits out the rear in conjunction with the track rotation sound all coming together to create a bizzare harmonics.
This was the main reason i got BIKE SPEAKERS installed into my helmet now and typically play my MP3 player most the time.
