I have gotten down to the exhaust donuts but how do I phsically remove the Y pipes through the tunnel from the flex pipes as I have to replace the titanium pipes with the new stainless pipes.

Can't you just open up the side panel and unbolt it from the engine? Oh ...wait...wat? You have to take apart the whole sled? Right...Yamaha.

Remove the seat the gas tank, the skid, heat shield for the trunk. There are two rubber things on top of the tunnel to get to the bolts. And 4 bolts at the back of the tunnel.

Make sure you have a surgeon qualified to do open-heart surgeries with you before you do this...Also, don't forget to jump through the hoops of fire that should have come with your sled! >D

Thanks guys but this does not tell me how to physically remove the Y pipes from with in the tunnel. Everything you all have told me has already been done. Just stuck with how do I get the dam y pipes out.

Once the pipes are off the clamps up front and slid off the muffler pipe they slide out between the tunnel and skid. I left the bolts that hold the Y-pipes in place and then removed the muffler. Needed to persuade it with a hammer and a block of wood until it finanlly slid off the pipes.
