Can someone tell some simple adjustments and where they are? Sled pushes in corners, bought new then put dullies carbides to stop darting. Please be specific on what to adjust. Reading other threads and don't understand all the lingo. Like where limiter starp is and those adjustments. All i know is adjustment on side of tunnel. And what does that do? Help out a dummy. Its wife sled so i want to get it right the first time. HELP.

We have 2 Rages and this is what worked well. first throw out the dooleys. install ski-doo pilot skis. they don't dart or have nervous feeling in steering of sled that stock skis have. well worth the $240 for kit complete with carbides. also steer much lighter than stock. if it still pushes, try bigger carbides. i use 6"shapers. next jack up front end and loosen shock springs until they have no tension. then tighten slightly ,just so they don't rattle. the idea is to make A-arms nearly paralell to ground. next tighten limit strap one hole. the adjustment on side of tunnel in for rear shock rebound. setting here is a personal preferance. as dial says, soft<>hard. kinda speed/roughness/preferance. it is very effective. drive down same stretch of trail and adjust to feel different settings. you'll get it.

The doolys tend to push in the corners. I use 6inch deuce bars on my '06 Rage and have had good results. If you are using the stock skies, shim them in the rear and that will help make them wear more even. A lot of the guys also will use the Bergstrom tripples.

07 rage

I had some of the same issues with my '07 Rage. I shimmed the skis http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles ... r_Shim.htm
I also adjusted my transfer rod that almost eliminated the inside ski lift in the corners. I run 6" shapers. The sled acts like a totally different machine after these items were done.

That sound like the thing to do, I'll try that thanks. Shimmed my viper years ago worked well. Just thought this new sled for wife would be different. Sucks gto to throw $120 worth of dullies away
