Went and looked at a 2008 LTX tonight with 5800 miles on it, very clean well taken care of sled. Having a hard time finding a value on NADA or KBB for the 08 LTX anniversary edition. Seller is asking $5800 which is high but what's it worth? Thanks, John. Sleds on Craigslist Chicago.

That's a good buy for $5800

Good buy.... maybe now a days but 2 years ago those sleds could be had for about $5000. Funny how values have gone up in the last couple years.

This is the same link I found but for a GT LTX, he said his is just the LTX, what's the difference? I would think the value of the GT version would be higher?
The anniversary 2008 is an LTX/GT having the Ohlins Shocks front and rear. Electronic adjustable rear shock. The color/graphics makes it the anniversary model.

I had this same sled served me well 58,000km when i upgraded to my 14Apex XTX.
was still running strong no big issues just time for the Powersteering for me.

Had the 08 Anniversary addition and it was a great sled. Never would have sold but the economy did me on for a couple of years. Those sleds had on the fly rear shock adjustability as well as the Ohlin shocks all the way around. It was very close to an M 10 ride. It was one of the best sleds I have ever owned. I had put about I think 9800 miles on it. By buddy has 19,000 miles on his. It beats my 13 XTX.

I bought my 08 apex mtx SE 40 anniversary, fall of 2014, with 2500 km on her, woman driven for 6000$. Best deal I ever got. Pretty much a barn find if you ask me lol

You can buy my XTX and have it shipped to you... Shipping from AK would probably only run you about the price of the sled

Being a bad snow year and what that other guy had to sell his for with only 3600 miles I'd offer him less. You might have to put on new ypipes that will cost around $300 I bet if you do it yourself. Not sure when Yami started with replaceable bearings but my 07 Attak had mostly no replaceable's so at that mileage you may want to do that as well. Soon you'll need bushings for the skid being Yami used plastics in the Arms as well.. another $200 only if you do it yourself.
How about the bearings on the clutch side? if he hasn't greased them then you may have issues. Ask him about these then offer him less due to these things needed. You'll have a good machine then and money to spend on upgrading or maintenance.
