I would go a couple of turns and see what happens. Start in the middle and go back and forth from there to see what works for you. There is a guide on the tool in your kit. I wouldn't go past the Max line. Some here have done that and snapped off the rod. It is not a big job to make the adjustments. A good set of Channel lock plyers is best for loosening the adjuster. The tool in the kit is pretty small and its hard to get a good grip on it. Make sure it is tight after you adjust it. How much transer you have is totally up to you. Some guys just like doing wheelies. They are fun but get boring after a short time.

It's simple! You have a motor with amazing torque and you need to put the traction to the ground. The only way I have found this to be possible is running 1.450" studs. As a matter of fact I will be pulling out my almost new 1.375", studs from my Nytro to replace them with 1.450". It may appear like the difference is not much but it's the best performance mod you can do to your ride before clutching and other bolt ons.

Before you guys spend more money on studs try taking out the transfer rod. It won't cost you anything and you're making the sled lighter too......

If you can't hook up with your transfer rod set for full transfer it won't do you any good removing it.

It was on my 06 Attak running 108 woodies 1.325 megabites. I have the same setup on my 08 LTX. Going to remove it this weekend and do some experimenting........

So, is there anyone who took the transfer rod out with 1.375 studs with no problems? If that is the case i will be doing it for the hole shoot.
