08 vector headlight complaint

I have a 08 vector ltx black and red, last night was first time I rode at night and the headlight really sucks it has a yellow coating in it and makes about as much light as a old 1969 skidoo my dad once had. my buddies 07 vector blasts a super brite white beam, whats the idea behind this stupid design.

I noticed the yellow tinted coating too. Don't some models come with a blue tinting?

I replaced my stock bulbs with Sylvania Silverstar Ultras and the lighting is quite good once you aim the headlight way down so that the high beam is actually useful in illuminating the trail. Low beams are still yellowish and useless.

Got the blue tint on my yammie blue 08.
My lights are as bright as the viper was, but should be adjusted down a little as well.

metallicat, Those bulbs that u put in are they the same wattage as stock bulbs, but just throw a whiter beam of light???

Yup, same wattage. Can find them at any of the auto mart stores. They are something like 50% whiter / brighter.

I think the sleds with blue graphics come with blue tinted headlights. Strange but true.
