Is this the crossover track that yamaha sells in there accessories catalog you guys are talking about?
I was looking at getting it from tracksusa.com. Not sure if it's the same.

It is good to know that there are no ratcheting issues on your Nytro. I have one ready to install on my VL and with the lower powered engine, I wouldn't expect any problems.dilligaf said:I have the Crossover track on my Nytro XTX and have no desire to change to anything else. I have no ratchet issues and the track fits with no issues. Mine isn't fully clipped. I installed wear bars to take care of the hyfax wearing issue. Get the fully clipped if its offered.
What are the wearbars that you mention?
How do you find it for cornering on the trails compared with the Ripsaw?
thanks,

thanks,
It does bite better in the corners, but made a difference of night and day in the powder and loose snow.
Link to the wear bar discription. I see a fully clipped Crossover track is available to avoid having to do this.

okay thanks, I look forward to the improved performance in the powder; hopefully the extra bite in the corners won't cause too much pushing on the trails.
Wear pads - I saw those doodads before but my new track is fully clipped so not needed.

Where exactly do those wearpads go?

My understanding is that they only work with tracks that don't have all the windows open - so they would go on that space that would normally be cut out i.e. the what is called the window.jmehok said:Where exactly do those wearpads go?

Why don't they put a stud on the bolt end and make it dual purpose?radianguy said:here are wear pads installed on my Vector

I prefer it not to be a stud with an 1.5" lug track. JMO
