12 Volt outlet on 2007 Apex RTX

Hi. I run my shield heater through an adapter in the 12 volt outlet. The outlet worked until last weekend and isn't working now. Now i have no shield heater. I plan on installing the wiring directly to the battery for the shield heater this weekend and using that directly. I want to fix the outlet so i can use for cell phone, gps, and a back-up outlet for the shield heater. (The adapter works fine- i tested in my truck outlet).
Would someone mind telling me how to trouble-shoot this? Where exactly is the fuse?

The fuse box is located under the plastics at you right knee or above the reverse linkage. Should be a 2 0r 3 amp fuse.
If you do a Search for the fuse box the query will come up with some pics.
