I run a 2005 Warrior LE and am probaly looking at a replacement track. I currently run a 1 1/4 with 144 studs - looking for feedback on what type of track to run - same thing with seperate studs or go to one of those pre-studded/ice-ripper tracks?

i havent heard of much advantage from the ice ripper tracks. if you are running that many studs now i would think that track will feel like a track with no studs. i have also heard that those little studs tear out pretty easily

Hmmmmm, I have heard just the opposite------?

I have an ice ripper on my wifes vector and my attak..... 2000 miles on her vector and track looks new.... 1200 miles on my attak and track looks new.

in my opinion it feels like a sled with 144 picks in it... for braking.... on acceleration, feels like a 96er.... it is the perfect track for trail riding and great for icy corners.... but it is NOT an ice draggin track...

for me, unless i want to go to a 1.5 lug track, i will always outfit my sleds with an ice ripper.... it only weighs like 4 lbs more than a rip saw, dont have to worry about tear outs, bent studs, cooler damage, etc.

unless ur into racing, this trail is great. in fact i feel it out performs a ripsaw off trail (which is the ripsaws week point)..... this is because everywhere there is a little stud, they filled in the rubber groove that is on the regular ripper.... therefore there is a little more of a "paddle" to the track.

anymore info, feel free to pm me....
