Has anyone done this and if so how did it work? I think it would take it out of the design of the mono but I'm no engineer so I was wondering if any of you guys have done this. I do quite a bit of off trail riding now and really enjoy it. Getting rid of the Attak is not an option for me, so please don't suggest that. believe it or not I was up riding around Grand Marais, Mi a couple weeks back and it was deep off trail and I didn't get stuck on the Attak, but about 5 other sleds got stuck. I would however like some more flotation. Would a 151" completely screw me on trail?

I have my 07 attak with a 144x2, and love it!!! I do most of my riding with the transfer rod removed ( way better for of trail ). The only time I put the rod back in is when I know we will be riding mostly trail. I am going to go to a 151x1.5 this summer. The 144" does great but I want a little more for when we go out west. The 144" does great for most conditions. I have the Mono revalved and the big boy spring in it. This was the single best thing I did to this sled. I love it!! If there is anything I can answer for you let me know.

It didn't hurt the action of the suspension at all or is that why you went with the revalve and Big Boy spring? Did you go to extroverts, and what did you have to do to clear the 2" track. Thanks for your reply,Gene.

I did the revalve and spring when I still had 136" track It works worlds better. no harsh bottoming I love it. I went with the skidoo 9t drivers (extroverts cheeper) you have to cut out the tunnal and heat exchanger protectors then it will all fit nicely.

Thanks for the info. What skis are you running? Did it affect you negatively on trail with the extra traction of the track. I would think as aggressive as SLP powder Pro skis are they would be a good match for the 151". Gene

I run the stock yamaha mountain ski. They work good! The powder pro will work great!

The 151 is the best do everything length.3 of the guys that I ride with have 151 attacks and love them.

Ratpack do your buddies still have the mono suspension or the Expert X as you have? This is my main concern is I'm not sure if the mono can handle the extra length and still work properly. thanks roller,Ratpack, and niko for your replies and info. Gene.
