1900kms new belt issue

I'm not sure what else was included in the update aside from the helix , it was $99.95 i believe , made it noticebly snappier .
And then I had the 240 sm flash with Daltons , and BOV installed , along with relocating the transfer bar back, and it really changed the way it handled .
The flash and other stuff was done by Tim at Prostreet in Huntsville .
I plan to go back to him for the SS update, and have him set the weights to get the rpms to 8900 +/- .
He also redid my shocks .
The update kit is a 35-39 reverse angle helix and different color secondary spring. Also included is the aluminum rivet for the weight which replaces the steel outer. Total weight comes in about 69 grams.

The secondary spring supplied in the kit is the Yamaha black/pink, used stock on various Apex, Nytro and Vectors for eons.

Thanks for info fellas!

That's right, and I also should have noted that the helix has a machined ramp surface compared to the old version which was just cast.

So is the consensus that the update is worth it? My dealer had non in-stock but said we can order it in if I want it.... Just want this to be reliable belt wise...

I believe the update is for 2017 's , not sure about 2018's .
The new parts are now stock , I believe.
