That's the stock track on the new Nytros? I read somewhere that the Peak 2.5 is basically the Ascent, but in a 2.5" lug.
I wanted to try that track but I would rather let others test it. I am going with another CE 2.5 Can't go wrong.

Are there any issues running a 2.5, i've read that snow and air cant pass at the same time and it can slow down the track speed.
This winter I plan to upgrade to an extreme, just not sure about the lug height. I'm also thinking about going 16 wide, any thoughts??

The 2.5 is tight, But works fine. In a perfect world you would have more room, but we don't and the performance is well worth it. As to the 16 wide you will get plenty of people saying to run one, I never will. I have ran a 14 wide track before and it was much more fun and nimble than even a 15. For handling I won't run a 16 wide track unless its just a climbing sled. Get in the tree's and the 15 will be funner to ride.

Can one run with the 2,5" Ce in 3" pitch and stock drivers on the nytro without trouble?
Yes most defiantly
, The stock drivers don't hold up too well with any track but you might as well run them till they are shot.

My only issue would be hitting the undertunnel exhaust with the 2.5", but I think I will be fine. The track I have on there now doesn't come really that close. I think I am going to go with the 2.5"CE. Got an email back from Camoplast and they don't offer the Peak2.5 in a 3 pitch 15 wide yet. Plus he said that the CE would be better for Washington snow. Now moving on trying to find a decent price on a CE and looking at some Gen III skis.
2 winters ago with a stockish tunnel I ran a 2.5 with my undertunnel and it had some black on it from track slap but nothing to be concerned with. Last year I had big issues with it but that was a completely different tunnel and it was not just 1/4" it was hitting by but like 2". Michelle "Freeagent" At Oregon trail has good track prices now, she may be worth giving a call. 541-523-3500

I have a Power Addictions tunnel, so now you have me thinking. I don't see any black marks on the exhaust now, so I may be good?
Yeah my last years tunnel I brought the bends back to 1 bend in the rear so I lost about 2" in tunnel clearance. If you don't have any rubbing now it's only 1/4" taller so I doubt it will at all and if it does it will be rare and barley hit it so I wouldn't be concerned with it.
