2004 RX 1 Throttle Cable Question

A friend has a 2004 RX1 he is putting a 2 inch riser on , will he need a longer throttle cable or can the original work?

Mine worked with a two inch just fine. Reroute and unsecure a couple wires from the bunch.

Get throttle cable off a 05 RX1 Mountain sled, cost me $22cdn @ the dealer in Canada. That was couple years ago, not sure what price is now.

For two inch rise there is no need for longer cables. Why bother?
