quite a few people have, do a search on 05's, you will find the results in the old posts. Look for dates in March and april
i drove a 05 rx-1, it was awesome, much improved over 03/04 model rx-1. jeff
JEFF, When you say the 05 was 'awesome' did you think it rode smoother then the 04? also did it have better weight transfer? Im really looking forword to what you come up with for the new RX-1 with out turbos. If I can get it to run 'very' close to my brothers CPR piped VIPER and my other brothers F-7 with your clutch kit then I think 1-3 of the guys in my group might come over to a RX-1 too... thanks...Gary.

CPR Piped Vipers are quite capable of being a handfull, however with the Supertune Clutch pacakges from CPR, your RX1 will run rith with them. Keep in mind that every customer is a little different, tracks, studs, weight...etc so fine tuning of these kits on a individual basis may be necessary to get your every ounce you can out of your sled. I can tell you that with the ECP Filter kit and the Stage II (specifically designed for the ECP filers) will make your RX1 an animal. The acceleration is truely incredible piped vipers become much easier to handle...BBY
the o5 did everything better, i was very impressed, i am working on a new supertune kit for the rx-1 right now that will incorperate an air box modification for added performance, while still sounding and looking stock. the viper won't be a problem with my new supertune kit. lots of new things will be coming out of simons cpr for the rx-1 this season. i'll be releasing info as these kits become availible. jeff

Jeff, any hints of what is coming, I have started the off season mods, if you have some great stuff coming soon, i'll wait. What areas of mods? I am planning on the ECP w/stage II clutching + exhaust, should I wait? Come on. . . .just tell us!
JEFF,, It's good to know we have some one like you that can make products that really work. I cant wait to see what you come out with for the RX-1. Agan thank you for making our VIPER so much more fun to ride, and for all your performance advice. My brother said to say thanks too. Now I will have to compete with him on my 05 RX-1, but it looks like your going to make it fun for me agan...Gary.
i hate to be a tease, but all i can tell you right now is that we are in r and d of all the new products for next year, and you will be impressed with the arsonal of performance products we will have for the rx-1's, including early products for the new 05 yamaha fourstrokes. (what i can tell you is that the rx-1 and vectors are my personal project sleds for the season, so expect some exciting products.) jeff

I Drove It & It Is Nicer Handles Better Vector even Bett
Talking Mountain Sleds The 05 Is A GOOd improvment on the 03 the tunnel is better to stand on the bars are Higher the skies are better in soft snow
but if you plan to turbo your sled regardless, the vector handled even better but a little gutless stock.
Turbo a vector I think would handle I suspect Nicer than a RX 1
power will be all you can handle With Turbo RX1 or Vector
if you add enough boost

I'm sure if you searched previous posts, you will find that well-tuned 03 and 04 RX-1s beat the REV 800 H.O.
