2005 RX1's....Observation

Slow at work today so I was checking out some pics from the Yamaha website....notice the RED or BLACK sled still having BLUE control buttons for the Hand/Thumb Warmers??? You have to really look closely...

I hope that's just a pre-production thing...BLUE buttons on an all BLACK or RED sled just does'nt seem right... :shock: :shock: Another thing...why is the windshield on the black sled lower than the others...I mean....what's the point?

Not complaining here...just observing!

Didn't all colors of earlier RX-1 come with blue switches? I'm under the impression all of the 05 RX-1 will come with taller windshields than the 03/04. Anyway you look at it, these sleds are way better looking than anything else offered by the other manufacturers.

I wonder if we will be able to "longer-track" these with the same extensions and track I got for my 03?

All the sleds have blue buttons for the hand warmers. As for the windshield, I believe that's because it's the spring order model.

Why wouldn't they? They did so for the Exhaust covers, Windshield and A-Arms on both the LE and RED ER's.....I am just saying....Blue Buttons on a ALL Black or ALL Red sled kinda look dumb IMHO. Just make the buttons Black and it will match everything! They don't have to be blue for any reason.

Maybe I am picky...but I bet I will get people asking me..."Why are the buttons Blue on an ALL RED/Black sled??"
