So I am working on a friends 05 vector and it seems that the rear shocks might be bad. When you push down on the rear of the sled it doesn;t want to rebond back up without some assistants. Out of the two shocks it looks like the front is rebuildable but the rear looks like it is not. Am I write to think the shocks are bad and if so what is the recommendation for a new rear shock? I know I can have the front rear shock rebuild for about $30

if the shock has an aluminum body, it is rebuildable. sounding like it has a proaction in it. if so, kimpex makes a rear replacement shock for the rx1 that should work if you cannot find a used one of of an rx1 or sx viper to put in it.

You could consider an RS Nytro rebuildable clicker shock for your sled. Thats what I have on mine. Your rear springs may be week and need replacement.
