2005 vs 2006 RS Venture

I am looking to buy a RS venture and am trying to decide between a new 2005 and a new 2006 model.

Does anybody know what changes Yamaha made from 2005 to 2006 and any thoughts on which year would be best? Yes the 2005 is cheaper.

Always go with the newer model. There were a couple of issues with the '05 that were fixed in '06 otherwise they are almost identical.

06 with the painted nucle and A Arms, speedomoter, i Believe they put better bogie wheels on (not hard plastic) (could be wrong). That is what i noticed. I would wait and go 07 witht the better shocks. If it is original shocks they really compress after 2 years. My shocks now sit so low i have to replace the windshield because the top is now blocking my sight line. If 05 make sure all bulletins were taken care of, and check for runner wear and broken welds. Not sure about 06's did not hear to much like the 05's. If the 06 is like the 05 save a little more and buy the 07 and buy the yes coverage it will save you in the short and long run.
