Getting ready to do a little testing and need some info:
First my sled: 2006 Apex ER-Stretched to 136 with Cobra Track -Top Gear changed to 22 tooth with 68 link chain. Yamaha Mountian Skis, shaper bars. No motor mods.
On Lake last week, felt like wasn't performing up to par, but like an idiot, I forgot to pay attention to the rpm's. I was only getting in the mid 90's on the GPS. Going to check the clutching on it this week.
Here is my question: When I hammer it from a dead stop, the rpm's will jump around a little before settling down as I gain traction. Where should it settle?
Thanks in advance for your input.
