Looking at a 2006 Attak with 3000km on. Studed Track and not a mark on the entire sled. Showroom condition. What is it worth? Any common problems? Hope you guys and help me out.

A-arm bushing, steering bushings, cracked W-arm(skid), exhuast donuts, other then that they are very good sleds. 5,000-6,000bucks.

1800 miles......ride it. You shouldn't have any of those issues yet. I had mine for 7500 miles; changed exhaust donuts at 6000, and never had to mess with steering or arm bushings. I did reinforce my w-arm, but only as preventative maintenance. Most items suggested on here are things that eventually wear over time. The sled your looking at has lots of riding life left before you have to start monkeying with it.

what are you buying it for? Attak is a great trail sled smooth and comfortable. These sleds don't show their age very well. need to look at the wear item like slides, bearings and shocks. Shocks and bearing go bad with limited use. Drive line bearings need to be cleaned and greased. boogies might need to be replaced. lift the track off the ground and spin each one they should spin free and smooth. Then with the track on the ground spring tension on soft and dial in middle. step on bumper quickly and release sled should come up slowly. if it springs up fast shock needs rebuild. same for the front, but put skis in dollies so they can move otherwise they may bind on the floor. change the oils and filter. clean the clutches. Anything can go wrong at any time so ride it as much as you can. Best way to find any problems. Come ride with me for a weekend. Well find someway to break it.
