Ive had the same issue as the poster below, in having the movable bushing in the primary clutch being extricated somehow.
http://ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=11 ... c&start=30
I pulled the clutch apart and polished up some of the dings that happened when the movable bushing got pulled out, replaced the bushing, and threw the whole thing back together. 10 km into the test ride the new bushing came out. Any suggestions???
I'm assuming I need a new primary and was wondering what sort of compatibilities there are with various year yamaha primaries. I'm thinking of grabbing an old clutch that works and tossing in my weights and what not.
Thanks for the help.

Appreciate that. I'll give the lock-tight a try.
If I do need a new primary though what Yamaha clutches are compatible replacements?

I doubt that you need a new cover make sure you clean it good an press the bushing from the right side also let the Loctite set up an you will be good to go.
