This motor was feature in a issue of snow tech a few years back with a cutaway view.I don.t think yamaha is losing sleep over it.A twin from polaris or arctic cat,turbo or not,cannot run head to head with yamaha.EXAMPLE-YAMAHA supplied engines to F1 teams in the 1990s,races in moto GP,and sells a self-flying chopper.POLARIS and ARCTIC CAT,ties to NASCAR,end of story.

I don't tink Yamaha cares about who or what runs faster on the lake...if they did, they would have released the Apex with 180HP FI engine. Problem with that is the very next year, one of the others would have released a
sled with 200HP and so on, and so on and so on...it never stops!

Yamaha is and will be the LEADER in 4-stroke engine, chassis and suspension technology and will provide fast and reliable products to the consumer, but Yamaha will never join a lake race battle!
