Hi all am doing a complete check on my 2006 RS venture 4700 KM I have just bought. After reading the posts on here I and the lack of snow here I have torn the sled down and am going to replace the cam chain tensioned the exhaust donuts (they are leaking) also took the rear suspension out of it. Have taken pics of the suspension and am sure that it has the extra wheels on it but take a look and let me know. I have taken the tensioner out and it has the orange dot on it so I will replace even though I tested it many time and it worked fine better safe than sorry. Please let me know if there is anything else I should be doing to this while it is all torn down. I am thinking of changing all the bearings also.

Thanks Jim

Most of the wheels on the suspension need replacing worn or warped
can i go aftermarket or are these a yamaha big dollar item

I have the same sled 8700mi. I would just grease the bearings clean withwd40 put new grease in them. Also I would change all the 130mm wheels with yamaha acs. wheels part number sma 8fp38 01 bk.They seem to be the best available. Google that part number and you will see some good deals. They have the replaceable bearing and made in usa Hope I helped you
