2006 RTX vs. 2006 Apex ER.....whats the difference?

I'm doing some research on the yammy RTX. Correct me if i'm wrong. The only difference between the 2006 RTX and the 2006 Apex ER besides the looks and colors is the up-graded fox floats correct?

And... The only difference between the 06 RTX and 07 RTX is the new ProActive suspension? Is this suspension alot better, what is the difference? thanks alot, jord.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they might have geared the RTX down for 07 so they could market it along the same lines as the Nytro. As you mentioned, they also switched to the Pro-Active CK for 07, which the Nytro ran in 06. Having never ridden a Mono sled, I can't give you a head to head comparison between the two, but I can tell you that the CK is a good skid for the rough stuff,as well as jumping and launching off of berms,etc. As far as groomed trails, I find it firm and positive, but not harsh.

the 06 rtx was the only 4stroke you could get without reverse,besides color and shocks ,no difference,now the 07 has lower gearing,different bars,firmer seat and the new rear skid plus the updates like chaincase cover,depends what your looking for i guess

so the 07's have the leaking chaincase fix then, and the new warmer bars....thats good
