2008 Nytro MTX, center shock

Hi, need cheap alternative center shock replacement. I had found a shock from a 2006 Apex MTX, that is 13-1/4" eye to eye. Would that fit?

I have the 2008 Nytro MTX 153" 40th anniversary edition.

supposedly nitro xtx shocks work in there. yellowknife had a set in the nitro mtx he had.

Would a 2006 Apex center shock fit my nytro mtx?

the apex mtx one might but the standard apex, no. looked at my brothers 09 apex mtx and it looks to be the same legnth as my 11 apex xtx rear shock.
