Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has taken delivery of their 2010 Nytro RTX se yet. My dealer still hasn't gotten mine yet. We don't have snow yet but I have lots of mods to complete before the snow flies.

Thanks guys. Sounds like Yamaha is taking their time getting the RTX SE's delivered

My dealer had his demo RTX SE weeks ago. Only took them a couple weeks to get my MTX SE in from outside the province, and the MTX SE's are even harder to find than the RTX SE's.

I know three guys in Western NY that ended up buying 09's recently because they couldn't find any 10's. The dealers are saying that production was delayed due to market conditions.. ?

Hopefully that doesn't affect me. I don't think it will as mine was a spring order complete with down payment. Still interested to see who has had their spring orders delievered.
Thanks

I hope not too. One thing to add and this is what some guys at Pioneer Motorsports said - - -
For the rebate amounts on leftovers, nobody wants the 2010's so we don't even stock'em for the most part. If you want one we'll find you one and get it here but all I put on the floor and in the warehouse are left over Yami's. Everyone is tag flippers. They flip the tag over and they like it or they don't. The guys that want the 2010 are the few who know the differences and usually spring order such as yourself. Besides that, we dont order any, just pick up the left overs and they sell like Sunday morning hot cakes. - - -
It's not verbatim but that was his message. From personal observations there are a lot of left overs and one of my friends saved 2400 dollars buying a 09 vs 2010. That's a lot of beer gas and mods I suspect, Yahama is saying enough is enough. We're loosing our #*$&@ selling leftovers with huge rebates. Sell all left overs so people have to buy 2010's 11's or what ever year it may be. Suppy and Demand. That's IMO of course. Hell I saw leftover 2007's on the floor!!

All 2010 sleds are delayed for issues with the new Yamaha ski.

Came directly from the guys at the local dealership where the tech just returned from Pleasant Prairie for training.

Shop asked the rep to ship without skis as everyone changes the skis anyway as the Yamaha skis are not the greatest for 95% of the riders.

I didn't realize that yamaha had changed the skis on the 2010 models. Can anyone verify that information or is that one of those "corporate" excuses they make to calm consumers who want their product.

I knew that there was a new ski this year but didn't realize how many sleds came with it.

The local shop order very few sleds this year and actually picked up a handful of '08 & '09 carry over from Yamaha real cheap.

We picked a '09 Phazer RTX for Expert 85 & will run our '08 Nytro RTX another year on the USCC circuit

My father in law who owns a dealership said his rep told him it was something to do with suspension parts. Thats why he hasnt received any 2010 Vector 136 in. As far as the ski's...only new ski is the mountain ski which wouldnt have anything to do with a Nytro RTX SE

Don't know, just was passing on the info the shop told me.

All their 2010 sleds are not in yet so it didn't sound like it was specific to one model.

I was at the big Yamaha dealer in Brainerd a few weeks ago & they had a new '10 RTX SE on the floor.

Luckily I didn't have the funds to buy that one as well cause wife would have strung me up!!

My dealer called me Wednesday pm, the day before turkey day, and said come pick up your 2010 RTX SE Today (Friday)...Yeah!!!
By the way my dealer says Jewill4 is correct in his observations... :yam:
