2010 spindle destroyed will 08 work?

I caught a tree stump on sunday and cracked the front of my spindle and bent it. I did tweak my subframe too. I have been looking for spindles and found one off a 08 nytro. My sled is a 10 nytro. I'm wondering if there is differences in the 08 to 09 and up spindles?I know Yamaha changed the upper ball joints but are the spindles different? Thanks for now.

Looks like they are different? But I think the first letters in the PN reflect model years? I dunno, you didnt say which version of nytro you have and Im no parts guy. just trying to help!

Im thinking that the location of the tie rod mount is different on the 08?

They are different. However it will fit if you cant get a new spindle in short enough time to be able to ride.
(dont know if that is the case..)

The install location of the a-arm is different on the 09-> arms.

The '08 spindles would work if you replaced both the left and right.

But the $100 for a pair of '10s (above) sounds like a sweet deal.

If anyone is interested, I have a pair of stock 2011 spindles powder coated white. I'd sell the pair for $300 shipped. I bent my right spindle so I ordered a new one it's in for powder coating right now to match the left one. The left has minimal wear with only has about 400-500 miles on it. I now went to SLP spindles and don't need them anymore. I can ship them out as soon as I get the new one back from powder coat.

one season i used 08 spindels on my 09 xtx and they performed better the 09

Would you care to explain? How did the 08 spindles perform better?

Im on my forth set of spindles and am currently running 09+ style spindles.
Can't say i notice any difference doing the riding i do at least.
