2010 vector ltx gt optional mono shock springs.

I know someone posted about going to a weaker spring. Can't find the post. Please help.

Part numbers for optional springs can be found by using Yamaha's parts finder.
I believe the stock spring for the 2010 Vector LTX GT has a 49.0 N/MM spring rate, at least the 2009 did.

There are two weaker springs listed as alternates: 44.1 and 29.4 N/MM

Thanks, I think the 2010 was stiffer than 09. Trying toi figuire out my options.

It is probably the updated, anti-bottom valving you are feeling. I can crank my rear spring preload on my 2008 LTX to max so there's almost no sag with me on it and it still rides amazing. I weight 190lbs dressed. You might want to send your shock out to Pioneer for a revalve and spring clip adjustment if needed. Its only around $80 with shipping for the revalve and rebuild with new oil and seals. You can remove your rear shock without pulling the skid too! The best $80 I ever spent on a sled!
