Start my sled up on the weekend to adjust track and it throws a code 82, short in the thumb warmer circuit. I noticed the thumb warmer extremely hot & adjust down only to see it take off to max on its own.
I just happen to have a throttle assembly so I change out both the thumb warmer & switch and still see the code 82, so I assume the short is between the ECU and the wire connectors @ the steering column.
My question is has anyone experience any shorting of wires in that cluster of wires at the base of the steering column? That's where I planned to look next unless someone has a better idea.
